With the fast-paced growing world, humans have started creating technology which is basically computer technology where computers behave as if they have used human intelligence to perform certain tasks that reduce human efforts and dependency. Some simplest examples where A.I can be seen are Google Search, and also in some voice assistant like Siri, Google Assistant, Alexa, etc. But with this technology, there are benefits or advantages as well as risks or disadvantages. Here are some benefits and some risks of A.I technology.

Some Benefits of Artificial Intelligence is as follows:

● It is Less Routine with Artificial intelligence that brings about evolution by automating our day-to-day work. AI can take care of everyday routine tasks, such as daily statistics snapshots, automatic sending of letters with utility bills, greeting letters, and other important notifications. So, if we apply AI technology at work it will help to decrease the workload, empower humans to upgrade their skills. Free from monotonous work, employees will be able to focus on the creative aspects of their jobs. Eventually, this combination of man and machine will make the world a better place.

●It is LESS RISK with AI. Employing AI capabilities for some dangerous tasks will help to reduce the risk to human well-being. Artificial intelligence technologies will overcome many limitations. Suppose we had a fire and you need to put it out. Brave heroes’ firemen risk their own lives to save people, animals, and property. And during this, all can go wrong. And a fireman can get injured. In the future for such situations, it is better to use robots with AI. AI-powered robots can handle fire, cold and even radiation, so they are frequently used in the nuclear energy industry to remove pieces of debris, especially after disasters. Even if they do not help to come out from the danger, robots come out with great value by helping to deal with a catastrophe.

●There is NO HUMAN ERROR Human beings are prone to physiology, fatigue, stress, emotions, aging, etc. All of these might poorly reflect on decision-making. All of these might poorly reflect on decision-making. For example, an overly-stressed doctor or pilot of a falling plane might make a fatal mistake, which will lead to a tragedy, to say nothing of the accidents caused by drunk drivers. With AI on the driver’s seat, the situation may be like this.

●It helps to generate BETTER FORECASTS. Meteorologists can trace potential severe storms faster by analyzing cloud movements with the help of computer vision and machine learning techniques to detect coming cyclones in real-time. This functionality allows us to properly prepare for natural disasters that impact the lives of millions. Besides, the weather determines the best time to plant and harvest crops. With correct and accurate weather reports in hand, the farmers will be able to maximize their yield.

But with these advantages is it the best that we should start using A.I technology everywhere. Well no as because with ever-evolving technology there is also some menace to be remembered. So, what are the risks of artificial intelligence, and what should we be doing about them?

RISKS

Some of the major risks in which we should be aware of are:

●Machines that don’t understand what’s important to people. Imagine an AI that has the power to change your life, but it has its own ideas about what’s important and what’s acceptable. This is great if you both agree, but it’s a nightmare if you don’t.

If we’re not careful, we won’t be fearing our AI lords: we’ll be worshipping them! Of course, despite these and other risks, AI could make our lives amazingly better if it’s developed responsibly. But this won’t happen if we don’t think about the possible downsides up-front. The good news is that AI developers and others are already beginning to do this. But we’re going to need a whole lot of input from experts in many other areas if the benefits of AI are too far outweigh the risks.
